Following are basic Weight Ranges for the 5 standard Boat Sizes built by Kaschper Racing Shells. Occasionally we do fine customizations for rowers with unusual needs, but our weight categories, coupled with our wide range of adjustments on components make it possible to fit boats within standard sizes to 99.9% of our customers. 

1x scullers should choose the size that puts their weight furthest away from minimum or maximum of the range.

Crews should use their 'weight average' to choose the best boat size. Individual crew members weights may be below or above the range if the average of all members is within or close to the min-max weights.

The following Sculler and Crew weight ranges are applicable to all Kaschper shells, early 70s to newest models!

FLYWEIGHT:  40-59 kg  / 90-130 lbs.

LIGHTWEIGHT: 54-73 kg / 120-160 lbs.

MIDWEIGHT: 68-86 kg / 150-190 lbs.

HEAVYWEIGHT: 82-100 kg / 180-220 lbs.

HEAVYWEIGHT PLUS: 95-113 kg / 210-250 lbs.
