Brian Thorne - St. Catharines, Ontario!

Kaschper Racing Shells welcomes Brian Thorne of St. Catharines, Ontario, to our group of North American agents. Brian is a distinguished competitor and coach, and has a long list of impressive and unusual rowing accomplishments and credits, which includes the following:
He was the Canadian National Team Lightweight Sculler from 1974-1984, winning two World Championship Medals. He has been a competitor since 1968; a coach since 1980; a Club Director since 1996, and is also an RCA Umpire.
He was the Sculling Coach for Nicholas Cage (as Ned Hanlan) in the movie 'The Boy In Blue', in which he also played the part of one of Ned Hanlan's early competitors - a double movie credit! And Brian has Raced at the Head of the Charles for over 30 years without fail! Brian has been a loyal customer, currently rowing his 19th Kaschper single, and we are happy to welcome him now as our official associate!

Peter Figgins - Burlington, Vermont!
Peter Figgins
Kaschper Racing Shells welcomes Peter Figgins as a NEW North American agent!
Peter's life has been full of rowing from his childhood. His father rowed at Queen's University
in Ireland, and was one of the original founders of the Three Rivers Rowing Club in Pittsburgh.
Peter learned to row and competed for several years in the Masters program at TRRA.
He coached at Taylor-Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh before moving to Burlington Vt in 2005 when he became the Head Coach of the Mens Crew Club at the University of Vermont and he
occasionally can be found during the summer, along with a Kaschper shell, at the Craftsbury Sculling Center. Peter has been a customer of and a great rowing resource to KRS for some years, and
we are very happy to now count him among our Official Associates!
